About The Position

Pathways to Community (PTC) is hiring a Weekend Lead Direct Support Professional to support individuals with daily needs and help lead staff. The role includes direct care, supervision, household tasks, transportation, documentation, and coaching and mentoring staff. The schedule is every Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sunday; the posting states 34 hours per week. Compensation is $20 per hour during the day and $14.50 per hour overnight. Requirements

Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is required.
Hold a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance, and have daily access to a reliable vehicle.
Have an acceptable driving record.
Possess strong English communication skills.
Be able to cover shifts beyond the employee’s own as necessary.
Be able to participate in water activities, including pools, waterslides, and hot tubs.
Pass a DHS and nationwide criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Support individuals with daily needs, including personal care.
Schedule activities.
Administer medications.
Cook and perform housework.
Ensure house safety.
Provide constant supervision.
Transport individuals to appointments and community events.
Coach and mentor staff.
Maintain documentation and logs of consumer-based activities, medications, and other items in compliance with PTC and applicable guidelines, policies, and regulations.
