About The Position

Homestead Comfort in Ellington, CT is hiring a full- or part-time Weekend Dispatcher to help keep everything running smoothly. This is your chance to join a customer service team that values efficiency and customer care, all while earning $25 – $30 per hour. This is a full- or part-time customer service position. You will work weekends from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If you're looking for a little more flexibility, Monday and Friday hours are also available within regular business hours.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Computer skills
• Customer service experience
• Ability to pass a background check

Nice To Haves

• Experience in an HVAC, plumbing, or oil business environment

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule technicians for emergency repairs and maintenance
• Ensure oil deliveries are routed efficiently
• Serve as the first point of contact for incoming service calls, emails, and messages
• Provide customers with confirmations and updates
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Prioritize and rank service requests based on urgency, location, and customer needs
