About The Position

The Westerner Group is looking for a Weekend Dishwasher and Foodrunner to join their team. This role involves working in a busy environment with fun coworkers, where nights fly by. The position offers $18 an hour and requires quick and efficient work. The Westerner has a long history, known for loyal customers, experienced staff, and high-quality food and service. The shifts are Friday and Saturday from 8pm to 2:30am or 3am.

Responsibilities

Scrape food scraps into trash before loading dishes.
Remove all fruit, ice, straws and any debris from glasses.
Sort items by type (plates, utensils, glassware).
Load racks correctly so water can reach all surfaces.
Monitor water temperature and detergent levels.
Unload and inspect dishes to ensure they are completely clean.
Use the glassware dryer and properly store clean items.
Keep the dish station clean and organized throughout your shift.
Set up and break down nightly.
Run glassware when needed.
Stay ahead of the rush, continuously moving dishes through the machine.
Organize dirty dishes, clean dishes, glassware, and kitchen equipment into separate areas.
Work safely, wearing non-slip shoes and using gloves when handling chemicals.
Be careful with knives and broken glass.
Help run food to customers.
Assist with food preparation tasks.
Sweep, mop, take out trash, and break down boxes.
Follow health department sanitation standards.
Remain calm and productive during busy Friday and Saturday evening shifts.
