About The Position

Our Weekend Cleanup employees keep our business running smoothly by ensuring a clean environment for production and trades teams, which is essential for a safe and efficient workplace. This role is a perfect opportunity for students or candidates seeking weekend work (Saturdays and Sundays) to earn extra income, with all necessary training provided. The position is at our mill in Lumby, British Columbia, part of the White Valley Division, which safely and sustainably produces 225,000 million square feet of veneer annually for global customers to build homes and communities.

Requirements

• Commitment to working safely.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Must be 18 years or older due to employment standards legislation.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in an industrial environment is an asset.

• Do general clean up throughout the mill.
• Support our tradespersons to ensure hot work is done.
