About The Position

The Weekend Caregiver supports clients with medication reminders, mobility, personal care, exercise, shopping, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. The caregiver is expected to respond promptly and responsibly in emergencies, follow health and safety standards, and provide respectful, compassionate care.

Requirements

• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking, with attention to dietary constraints.
• Respectful and compassionate demeanor with good bedside manner.
• Outstanding communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiver experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility at home and outside, including doctor’s appointments and walks.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
• Shop for clients or accompany them while shopping when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks clients cannot complete on their own, including preparing meals.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
