Weekend Caregiver or CNA In-home Dementia Care

We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Home Care Aides (HCAs) to provide non-medical in-home care services to seniors, adults, and children with disabilities throughout Alameda County over the weekends. Requirements
- Weekend availability
- California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration or willingness to obtain registration before hire
- Reliable transportation, requirement to travel anywhere in Alameda County
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (bilingual is a plus)
- Previous caregiving, home care, CNA, or personal care experience
- CPR and First Aid certification, or willingess to obtain
- Experience supporting individuals with dementia
- Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with ambulation and transfers as needed
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with errands, shopping, and transportation
- Observe and report changes in client condition
- Maintain accurate service documentation
