About The Position

Passionately Pets, a local In-Home Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Company, is hiring exceptional dog walkers to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, get exercise, and interact with local dogs, cats, and other companion animals. It is a fun and rewarding role for those who love pets.

Requirements

• Northern VA residence within 7 miles of 22301 is preferred.
• Must be available for a minimum of the same 2 consecutive hours between 10 AM and 3 PM, Monday-Friday.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have a reliable Smart Phone with internet access and data plan.
• Must be extremely detail-oriented.
• Able to follow detailed instructions.
• Must be responsible, reliable, and dependable.
• Must be timely and punctual.
• Must be able to self-manage.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be compassionate about animals.
• Must feel comfortable working with and interacting with both small and large animals.
• Must be willing to walk and drive in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to make at least a 1-year commitment (longer preferred).
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Enter clients' homes and visit with their pets for 15-30 minutes each.
• Walk pets as requested.
• Feed pets as requested.
• Ensure pets have ample, clean water and refill as necessary.
• Check for and clean any pet accidents or damage in clients' homes.
• Communicate with Management.

Benefits

• Compensation is $24-$28 per hour plus tips, paid on a per visit basis.
