Join Charleston Dog Walker for part-time midday shifts (11am-3pm) as a Pet Sitter & Dog Walker. This role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to provide care for pets, give peace of mind to their owners, and engage in meaningful work. The position is ideal for animal lovers who enjoy connecting with pets and are looking for a fulfilling side gig.
Requirements
- Genuine love for animals and derive joy from connecting with pets.
- Reside within the Charleston service areas.
- Possess reliable transportation.
- Hold a valid driver's license and insurance.
- Pass a background check.
- Comfortable using phone apps and journaling.
- Willingness to learn pet emergency care (training provided).
- Commitment to the team for at least 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, loving care including walks, potty breaks, feedings, administering medication, and playtime.
- Travel to clients' homes in specified service areas (downtown Charleston, James Island, Johns Island, Avondale, and Folly Beach).
- Communicate with pet parents by writing visit journals and sending photos after each visit.
