About The Position

Perform a variety of full performance duties as needed to help control noxious weeds throughout Bonneville County. This is a temporary summer position with approximately 40 hours per week from May through October, weather dependent.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid Idaho driver's license.
• Must own a sturdy pair of hiking boots.
• Ability to perform basic math operations.
• Ability to operate a computer or tablet.
• Ability to work independently without supervision or as part of a team.
• Frequent lifting in excess of 40 pounds.
• Ability to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• May be required to obtain a professional applicator license (if 18 years old or older).

Responsibilities

• Perform herbicide and pesticide application, dig or pull plants, and operate a weed eater or mower.
• Clean and perform basic maintenance on vehicles and spraying equipment.
• Mix chemicals and load spray equipment.
• Maintain regular, reliable patterns in work product and attendance.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required.
