About The Position

The General Manager in Training (GMIT) program is designed for experienced hospitality leaders who already possess the skills to manage a team and operations, and who are looking to take on the responsibility of running an entire venue. This 6-12 month development track focuses on teaching the Wedgewood Weddings & Events model from the ground up, compressing the learning curve for external hires. The role involves owning the venue's P&L, building and leading a team, setting the property's tone, and driving results. Centralized HR, marketing, and accounting teams provide back-office support, allowing GMs to focus on venue operations and people. The program also includes training alongside top-performing GMs to master full venue operations, sales leadership, team building, financial management, high-volume event execution, and culture setting.
