About The Position

The General Manager in Training (GMIT) program is designed for experienced hospitality leaders who are ready to run an entire venue operation. This 6-12 month development track focuses on teaching the Wedgewood Weddings model from the ground up, compressing the learning curve for individuals with existing leadership experience in areas like sales, events, and operations. The role involves running a real business, including managing sales, events, operations, and a team, with the goal of providing exceptional hospitality and unforgettable experiences. Upon completion of the training, GMs own their P&L, build their teams, set the tone for their property, and are measured on results. Centralized HR, marketing, and accounting teams handle back-office functions, allowing GMs to focus on their venue and people. The program also offers an Employee Ownership Program, providing a compensation opportunity tied to the company's financial performance and growth.
