About The Position

Wedgewood Weddings is seeking outgoing, reliable, and engaging Wedding DJs / MCs to host weddings and private events. DJs help create memorable celebrations by playing music that matches each couple’s style, guiding guests through key moments, and keeping events running smoothly. Previous DJ experience is not required; paid training and coaching are provided. The role emphasizes personality, professionalism, hospitality, and the ability to connect with people.

The position includes meeting with couples in advance to understand their vision and preferences, collaborating with venue teams and other vendors, traveling to venues throughout the region, and arriving prepared for event setup. The work is part-time with flexible scheduling, and most weddings take place Friday through Sunday, so weekend availability is needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have weekend availability; most weddings take place Friday through Sunday.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Have a reliable vehicle with insurance.
• Be comfortable speaking on a microphone and engaging with guests.
• Be able to independently lift more than 50 pounds of audio equipment.
• Be outgoing, friendly, and confident speaking to groups.
• Be reliable and organized.
• Have strong communication skills and enjoy working with people.
• Be comfortable leading a room and creating a fun atmosphere.
• Work well with venue staff and vendors.
• Have a passion for hospitality and celebrations.
