About The Position

Wedgewood Weddings is seeking energetic banquet servers to help create memorable wedding celebrations. The role supports event operations by setting up venues to event specifications, serving meals, assisting guests, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, and completing post-event cleanup. Servers should be enthusiastic, organized, detail-oriented, quick on their feet, and able to stay calm in a fast-paced environment. No experience is required; hospitality experience is a plus. The position involves physical banquet setup and teardown, including moving tables and lifting chairs. Regular evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required, and shifts may exceed eight hours and workweeks may exceed 40 hours. The company describes itself as a family-owned wedding business founded in 1986, with more than 90 venues.

Requirements

• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn; no prior experience is required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to work quickly and maintain an energetic pace.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Regular availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Ability to work shifts longer than 8 hours and workweeks longer than 40 hours.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of banquet setup and teardown, including lifting chairs and moving tables.

Responsibilities

• Set up event venues according to specifications, including arranging tables and chairs, preparing event spaces, and setting up food stations.
• Serve meals and clear tables efficiently during events.
