About The Position

Wedgewood Weddings is hiring energetic banquet servers to help create memorable wedding celebrations. The role supports event operations by setting up venues according to event specifications, serving meals, assisting guests, maintaining cleanliness and safety, and completing post-event cleanup. Candidates should be enthusiastic, willing to learn, organized, detail-oriented, quick on their feet, and comfortable staying calm in a fast-paced environment. No prior experience is required; hospitality experience is a plus. The position requires lifting chairs, moving tables, and assisting with banquet setup and teardown. Regular availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts is required, along with availability for shifts longer than 8 hours and workweeks longer than 40 hours.

Responsibilities

• Set up venues according to event specifications, including arranging tables and chairs, preparing event spaces and food stations, and completing other event tasks.
• Serve meals, clear tables efficiently, and maintain a clean and enjoyable environment for guests.
• Assist guests with menu options, dietary needs, and event details.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to keep work areas clean and organized.
• Complete post-event cleanup and help prepare the venue for the next celebration.
• Assist with banquet setup and teardown, including moving tables and lifting chairs.
