About The Position

The Website Manager is an essential position in the Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences (PBS), primarily responsible for managing the Department's website through regular system updates to ensure information remains accurate and accessible. This role also involves working with PBS faculty to create and maintain their lab websites to promote research. Additionally, the position helps manage the Sona online experiment system, which is used by over 1,500 students per year in General Psychology courses for signing up for required experiment participation. The Website Manager collaborates with PBS faculty and graduate students to prepare approved studies for recruitment, provides support to students with account access, oversees participation tracking and credit assignments, and addresses system-related issues as they arise.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree
  • 1-3 years of experience

Responsibilities

  • Managing the Department's website through regular system updates to ensure information remains accurate and accessible.
  • Working with PBS faculty to create and maintain their lab websites to promote research.
  • Managing the Sona online experiment system for student experiment participation sign-ups.
  • Preparing approved studies for recruitment in collaboration with PBS faculty and graduate students.
