About The Position

The UF Center for Land Use Efficiency is seeking a Website and Data Editor. This OPS (Other Personnel Services) Time Limited Non-Clerical position involves managing website content, ensuring ADA compliance, and supporting data management tasks for various applications and surveys. The role requires working with content management systems, data entry, cleaning, and reporting, as well as collaborating with a team to maintain web content and data integrity.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma.
  • At least one year of experience working with website content management systems (CMS).
  • Appropriate college coursework or internships may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
  • Understanding of ADA accessibility factors and requirements.
  • Experience with Excel data tables and/or databases.
  • Experience with HTML.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience auditing websites to improve user experience and adhere to ADA compliance.
  • Knowledge of ADA compliance standards and web accessibility best practices.
  • Proficiency with Terminal 4 (CMS).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Siteimprove reports and correct website issues.
  • Perform routine website updates and create new pages as needed.
  • Improve and remediate existing web content for ADA compliance, formatting, consistency, and clarity.
  • Compile and update data for the Floria Fertilizer Ordinances app.
  • Support contact data processing for the FFL annual survey, including data entry, checking, and corrections.
  • Assist with FFL and GI-BMP survey data reporting, including data cleaning and report generation.
  • Assist with various data maintenance needs for FFL apps, training and certification records, and program reporting.
