About The Position

The UF Center for Land Use Efficiency is seeking a Website and Data Editor for an OPS Time Limited Non-Clerical position. This role involves managing website content, ensuring compliance with standards, and providing support for data management tasks related to various apps and surveys. The position requires a high school diploma and at least one year of experience with website content management systems, with college coursework or internships potentially substituting for experience. The role is part-time, with flexible hours within the Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM work week, and requires in-person work at the Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ Offices at UF’s East Campus in Gainesville, Florida.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma and at least one year of experience working with website content management systems (CMS).
  • Appropriate college coursework or internships may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
  • Experience with Excel data tables and/or databases.
  • Experience with HTML.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience auditing websites to improve user experience and adhere to ADA compliance.
  • Knowledge of ADA compliance standards and web accessibility best practices.
  • Proficiency with Terminal 4 (CMS).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Site Improve reports and correct issues.
  • Perform routine website updates.
  • Create new pages, collaborating with the team on content.
  • Improve and remediate existing web content for ADA compliance, formatting, consistency, and clarity.
  • Compile and update data for the Floria Fertilizer Ordinances app.
  • Support contact data processing for the FFL annual survey, including data entry, checking, and corrections.
  • Support FFL and GI-BMP survey data reporting, including data cleaning, report generation, and checking.
  • Assist with various data maintenance needs to support FFL apps, training and certification records, and program reporting.
