About The Position

Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a Website Administrator for a potential contract to support a Financial Management Office's databases. This role involves designing, testing, and operating databases across multiple platforms, providing expertise in database management issues, and managing milestone-driven activities. The objective is to develop reports using existing financial reporting data for an online web interface and create Online Transactional (OLT) Database applications for financial recordings. This is a remote opportunity.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Java, Python, WebLogic Scripting, Linux Shell scripting, C#, HTML/JavaScript.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using JDeveloper and Eclipse IDEs.
  • Working knowledge and experience in Java Programming - J2EE, Struts 2 framework and Model View Controller (MVC) practices, JDBC, JSP, Servlets, Swing, Java messaging service (JMS/MQ Series) and command line.
  • Working knowledge and experience in Web Programming - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Material CSS, AngularJS, and Ajax.
  • Extensive understanding of assistive technology tools such as JAWS, ZoomText, Dragon, and Axe Monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (29 U.S.C. 794d) compliance requirements.
  • Working knowledge and experience in Perl, C#.Net, SQL, and PL/SQL programming.
  • Working knowledge and experience in the administration of Oracle WebLogic Application Server (version 14.x+).
  • Knowledge of security realms and authentication providers.
  • Working knowledge and experience with patching of the middleware applications with a minimum of Oracle WebLogic and JAVA.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) development and production environments.
  • Working knowledge and experience using command line in RHEL, SSH, FTP service (Windows), Team Foundation Server (install, configure, administration) (Windows), and Scheduled Tasks in Windows 2008 server.
  • Working knowledge and experience in Java development tools such as JDeveloper, Eclipse (OEPE ed.) Java SDK, Java Runtime; ability to compile Java class files, create and deploy WAR files.
  • Working knowledge and experience with PL/SQL, SQL, SQLPlus, TOAD, and Oracle Database server.
  • Working knowledge and experience with IBM MQ Series channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, create, and deploy applications to interact with IBM MQ Server.
  • Working knowledge and experience with managing Windows shares, shell scripting RHEL or Windows).
  • Working knowledge and experience with Secure FX, Secure CRT, Toad, and Microsoft Visual Studio 2019.
  • Working knowledge and experience with ArcSight.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Splunk.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Java Messaging Service.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Websphere MQ Server Admin/Development.
  • Demonstrated experience migrating servers and applications to Military and Government Azure development and production environments.
  • Demonstrated experience writing documentation including Disaster recovery, Threat mitigation, Design Document, and Coding standards and practices.
  • Demonstrated experience working with application security testing software.
  • Demonstrated experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager.
  • Working knowledge of Java build tools such as Apache Ant and Maven.
  • At least five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Possess a Computing Certification in Oracle.
  • Certifications and knowledge of the above required applications per the DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level I.
  • Secret Security Clearance.

  • Preferred experience with Source Control tools such as GIT.

Responsibilities

  • Design, test, and operate physical, relational, and object-oriented databases.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the identification and resolution of database management issues.
  • Manage and track milestone-driven activities.
  • Develop reports utilizing existing financial reporting data for an online web interface.
  • Develop Online Transactional (OLT) Database applications required for financial recordings.
  • Install, configure, monitor, and service Oracle WebLogic Application Server components.
  • Create diagnostic modules and set up alerts and notifications using the WebLogic Diagnostic Framework and WLST scripting.
  • Set up connections between WebLogic and Oracle Identity Management servers.
  • Patch middleware applications, including Oracle WebLogic and JAVA.
  • Manage SSL Certificates using Oracle Wallet Manager, OpenSSL, and Java Keytool, and configure WebLogic for certificate usage.
  • Manage Windows shares and shell scripting (RHEL or Windows).
  • Migrate servers and applications to Military and Government Azure development and production environments.
  • Write documentation including Disaster recovery, Threat mitigation, Design Document, and Coding standards and practices.
  • Work with application security testing software, run code scans, interpret reports, and mitigate findings.
  • Configure Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) to connect to WebLogic Server, install OEM Agent, and set up targets to monitor servers and applications.
  • Build .war files with hash signature files and .jar library files using Java build tools like Apache Ant and Maven.
  • Code to 508 compliance standards, ensuring compatibility with assistive technology tools.
