  • Experience with mobile-first responsive web design.
  • Experience with Figma handoff for developers or internal implementation teams.
  • Experience with design systems or reusable component libraries.

  • Strong event, content, service, or community-focused web design experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design a website experience that is clear, professional, mobile-friendly, and visually aligned with the energy of competitive TCG events.
  • Create website pages and templates including Homepage, B2B services pages, convention event category pages, regional event category pages, Pro-Play Summit pages, webcam tournament pages, event detail pages, post-event report and results pages, contact page, event support application page, vendor application page, talent application page, case study-style pages, gallery/media-heavy sections, and reusable content modules and page sections.
  • Design the B2B side of the site to present services such as organized play program management, tournament operations, event staffing, broadcast production, registration and ticketing support, prizing logistics, community management, reporting and data, and publisher activations.
  • Design the B2C side of the site to help players, attendees, vendors, and community members find information quickly, including event details, schedule, prize information, venue information, hotel block, vendors, broadcast information, side events, FAQ, and contact information.
  • Design post-event report pages to support final standings, top cut results, decklists, player names, metagame breakdowns, photo galleries, VOD links, winner interviews, attendance numbers, game stats, and downloadable reports.
  • Develop a design direction that feels premium, professional, competitive, high-energy, community-first, welcoming, esports/broadcast-inspired, bold, and polished.
  • Potentially lead a visual refresh while keeping the current logo and color direction as a foundation, expanding and refining existing colors for polish, accessibility, contrast, and web usability.
  • Create a website design package in Figma or a comparable tool, including UX direction, audience-path strategy, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, mobile-first responsive designs, desktop layouts, reusable UI components, navigation structure, interaction states, developer handoff notes, and a lightweight starter brand guide.
  • Ensure the starter brand guide includes color palette, typography, button and link styles, form styles, card and content block styles, icon or graphic treatment, photography and event media direction, basic logo usage guidance, and UI component rules.
  • Design with practical accessibility and usability basics in mind, including readable font sizes, strong color contrast, clear buttons and links, mobile-friendly spacing, simple navigation, and easy-to-understand forms.
  • Support SEO-friendly page structure through clear headings, logical content hierarchy, reusable templates, scannable sections, and internal linking.
  • Collaborate with the PPG Events marketing manager, who will provide final approval on designs.
  • Communicate through email, Slack, scheduled calls, and Figma comments.

Benefits

  • Opportunity to help shape the digital presence of a growing company.
  • Work will help communicate with publisher partners, support competitive player communities, promote major events, showcase event results, and create a flexible design foundation.
  • Potential for future contract work around specific event landing pages and recurring website design updates.
