Belmark is seeking a Web-to-Print Laminator Operator to be responsible for operating a solventless laminator at the highest efficiency possible while following standard operating procedures and work instructions to produce a high quality product. Requirements

Requires education equivalent to two (2) years of high school.
Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.
Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple written and oral instructions.
Regular attendance is an essential function of the position.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
Ability to give, receive and analyze information.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Requires nearly constant concentration and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Six (6) months experience setting up, operating and cleaning up a solventless laminator preferred.
May be required to work some overtime.

Responsibilities

Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.
Responsible for complying with and following all standard operating procedures and work instructions.
Perform all job tasks utilizing required personal protective equipment and correct safety procedures.
Maintain quality, productivity and waste according to set standards.
Ensure product adhesive weight and appearance.
Maintain adhesives.
Ensure proper sleeve, tensions, machine alignment and settings on each job.
Web the laminator.
Clean the laminator.
Install sleeves and assist in installing rollers.
Install shafts in the turrets.
Perform routine laminator maintenance.
Keep work area and machine organized and clean.
Complete the necessary paperwork.
Verify proper ratio of adhesives.
Move stock to stage for next job(s).
May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Will have job duties specific to our Hazardous Waste Management Program for the proper disposal of spent solvents, waste inks and other designated waste products.
Some of the responsibilities include the placement of waste solvents/inks in designated waste drums, labeling of waste drums and moving waste drums to designated storage locations.
