PURPOSE OF THE JOB The purpose of this job is to develop digital marketing campaigns designed to increase ICW Group brand awareness, customer engagement, and brand loyalty. This position exists to assume responsibility for all company website programming using industry best practices to represent the business and growth goals of the Company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred with a major or emphasis in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in web development; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to program in PHP, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of WordPress; plug-ins and custom theme development.
  • Proficiency in using debugging tools for multiple browsers and devices.
  • Highly skilled at using marketing automation tools (e.g. Pardot, Marketo) and working with enterprise CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce).
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute email marketing campaigns.
  • Experience using Subversion, Git, or other version control systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in the insurance industry and working with Marketing / Customer Experience Teams preferred.
  • Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD pipelines preferred.
  • Knowledge in Object Oriented Programming preferred.
  • Experience with JSON, XML, AJAX, RESTful API’s, Angular JS & Bootstrap preferred.
  • Experience with Agile development preferred.
  • Experience within B2B marketing and financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develops external corporate and customer-facing websites
  • Uses PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and other standard web languages to develop websites for WordPress based systems ensuring responsive and adaptive designs that meet usability and accessibility web standards and best practices.
  • Assures programming and procedures are documented for audit, backup, and business continuity purposes.
  • Creates modular programming for ease of reuse using efficient code that meets professional standards and is scalable and secure.
  • Tests and verifies interface functions on assorted devices, including PC and Apple based browsers, iPad, iPhone, and Android.
  • Documents all code through inline documentation and Wiki.
  • Collaborates with designers and business groups to conceptualize, develop, and deploy web projects
  • Works with Marketing team and other lines of business.
  • Collaborates with UX Designers, Visual Designers, and other stakeholders to maintain brand image and consistency.
  • Understands the overall customer journey and how web-based touchpoints critically affect our customer’s experience with our company.
  • Works with IT to ensure sites and systems are kept secure and operational.
  • Develops meaningful metrics that communicate results and provides ongoing reports to management.
  • Leverages digital media to strengthen brand awareness and engagement to deliver the company’s digital marketing initiatives.
  • Implements multi-faceted digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Utilizes a range of digital marketing platforms, techniques, and metrics including email, SEO, social media, A/B testing, gated content/landing pages, web analytics, etc.
  • Identifies new trends in digital marketing, evaluates new technologies to ensure the company is leveraging key digital marketing opportunities.
  • Implements digital strategy that defines measures and increases conversion.
  • Helps drive prospective customers to company web sites to maximize campaign impact and effectiveness.
  • Analyzes and tracks customer interactions with digital assets to drive increased brand engagement.
