About The Position

Schneider is seeking a Web Developer to develop front-end web design using modern HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, React, REST APIs, and content management systems. The role ensures Schneider’s websites are fully functioning and optimized for user experience. The position is primarily remote, but candidates should be within reasonable proximity to Green Bay, Wisconsin, to work onsite occasionally as needed.

Requirements

• Associate degree in computer science or a related field.
• 2–4 years of web design experience.
• Experience working with content management systems.
• Experience executing large-scale website launches.
• Experience with interactive web application development and open-source technologies.
• Advanced experience with database programming.
• Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
• Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and how it relates to web design.

Responsibilities

• Build complex designs into fully functional websites using HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, and related technologies.
• Develop a uniform web branding strategy to ensure a consistent look and feel across Schneider’s websites, applications, and intranets.
• Troubleshoot website interruptions.
• Work with marketing associates to identify new digital opportunities.
• Report on website traffic and performance.
• Implement new standards, technologies, and trends in web architecture, development, and design.
• Frequently audit Schneider’s websites for functionality and effectiveness.
