About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Web Developer to support First Army Headquarters at Rock Island Arsenal, IL. This role supports the Knowledge Management (KM) Team by developing web applications, modern front-end interfaces, scripts, and data integrations that enhance information sharing and operational effectiveness across the command.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing command solutions and identify areas for modernization or improvement.
• Work with users and stakeholders to gather and refine technical requirements.
• Develop responsive front-end interfaces, dashboards, and custom web components for SharePoint 2019/Online and Army Vantage.
• Build custom SharePoint applications and solutions using client-side development (JavaScript, jQuery, REST APIs), modern frameworks, and reusable components.
• Develop and maintain JavaScript, jQuery, and other front-end scripts to improve user experience and automate tasks.
• Configure and manage SharePoint lists, libraries, and site structures to support business workflows.
• Develop data-driven solutions using SQL, Python, and/or PySpark as needed.
• Collaborate with KM staff to translate operational needs into technical implementations.
