About The Position

This role is for a Web Content Editor focusing on the Beauty Channel for Dealmoon UK. The editor will be responsible for sourcing and identifying compelling deals from UK local retailers and major e-commerce platforms, evaluating product value, and creating clear, engaging, and conversion-driven content. Key aspects include planning timely and relevant content topics based on UK local lifestyle trends, student life, travel, and seasonal events, and managing content publishing across the app, website, and social media platforms. The role also involves monitoring content performance, optimizing editorial strategy based on metrics, and collaborating with internal teams like operations, sales, and design.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• At least 1 year of experience in content operations, social media, e-commerce, or related fields.
• Strong Chinese writing skills, with the ability to translate complex deal information into concise, clear, and engaging content.
• Good command of English, with the ability to independently research and review English-language product and campaign information.
• Highly price-sensitive, with strong information filtering skills and good judgment in identifying trends and compelling offers.
• Familiar with consumer trends and user shopping behavior.
• Interested in categories such as skincare, beauty, and personal care products.
• Familiar with platforms such as RED, Weibo, Instagram, and Tiktok, with a strong sense of content trends and topic selection.
• Strong execution skills, a high level of responsibility, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
• Comfortable using basic tools such as Google Sheets for data organization and simple performance analysis.

Nice To Haves

• Candidates with experience in Skin Care and Cosmetic products, or proven success in creating high-performing content will be a plus.
• Candidates with Amazon deal sourcing experience, UK local life experience, or successful viral content cases are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify compelling deals from UK local retailers and major e-commerce platforms.
• Evaluate product value and promotional quality, and create clear, engaging, and conversion-driven content.
• Plan timely and relevant content topics by leveraging UK local lifestyle trends, student life, travel, and seasonal or holiday moments.
• Create content with strong relevance, timeliness, and audience appeal.
• Support or manage content publishing and day-to-day operations across the app, website, and social media platforms.
• Adapt content formats and angles based on platform characteristics and manage the process from information gathering to content launch.
• Monitor content performance and evaluate effectiveness through key metrics such as clicks, conversions, and sales.
• Use insights to continuously optimize content direction and editorial strategy.
• Work closely with operations, sales, design, and other internal teams to ensure efficient execution of content initiatives and campaigns.
