About The Position

The Web Content Coordinator will be responsible for updating web properties, assisting in the design and building of HTML/CSS for websites and landing pages, and creating various landing page content. This role involves proofing, monitoring, and debugging digital collateral, websites, and print media, as well as providing guidance on optimizing web layout and design. The coordinator will manage and report on analytics accounts, create email templates and designs for marketing collateral, and liaise effectively with operational departments and stakeholders. Additionally, the role requires ensuring compliance with licensing and advertising laws, copywriting, working with modern front-end frameworks like React, Redux, Typescript, and Angular, and conducting customer outreach regarding the e-commerce platform. Other duties as required will also be part of the role.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in website development and programming
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript is required
  • Diploma or degree in computer programming or web development
  • Content management and coordination
  • Final candidates will be required to undergo an assessment and security screening, including a criminal record check. Employment is subject to screening completion that is satisfactory to Bartle & Gibson

Nice To Haves

  • Adobe Creative Suite knowledge (Photoshop, illustrator, InDesign) will be considered an asset, but is not required
  • Graphic design experience
  • Knowledge of C#, .NET Framework/Microsoft Ecosystem, ASP.NET and Web APIs will be considered an asset
  • Copywriting experience will be considered an asset but is not required
  • Programming/development experience (application, HTML, CSS, PHP, responsive emails) will be considered an asset but is not required

Responsibilities

  • Updating of web properties that function on a custom CMS
  • Assisting in designing and building of HTML/CSS for websites and landing pages as required
  • Creation of various landing page content
  • Proofing, monitoring, and debugging digital collateral, websites, and print media
  • Providing guidance in optimizing web layout and design
  • Managing and reporting on analytics accounts as needed
  • Creating multiple email templates, designs & ongoing development of email marketing collateral to support a retail-focused customer acquisition and retention program
  • Liaising and communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments
  • Developing and cultivating strong working relationships with all stakeholders (suppliers, customers, and employees)
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing and advertising laws, and other statutory regulations
  • Copywriting as required
  • Working with a website where front-end stack is based on modern frame work such as React and Redux, Typescript, Angular
  • Customer outreach regarding the e-commerce platform
  • Other duties as required
