About The Position

Tekion is seeking a highly technical, strategic, and creative Web Architect/PM to own the Tekion.com digital web presence. This role will define technical strategy, ensure system scalability, and mentor development teams to deliver high-quality, secure digital solutions. The Website Architect/PM will design the structure of the CMS, ensure pixel-perfect implementation from designs, coordinate with multiple teams as a Project Manager, and drive growth through high-performing SEO/AEO-optimized pages. The role involves pushing CMS capabilities beyond defaults to build a scalable, fast, and AI-forward digital ecosystem. The position is based at Tekion's US Headquarters, requiring close collaboration with US and India-based teams, as well as cross-functional teams in Marketing, Engineering, and Operations.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in CMS (preferably Webflow) development.
Portfolio demonstrating complex CMS (Webflow) structures, advanced interactions, and high-performance sites.
Expertise in Front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to manipulate DOM and extend functionality.
Experience with CDN, such as Cloudflare or CloudFront.
Strong SEO/AEO experience, including knowledge of how site architecture impacts crawling, indexing, and AI citations.
Figma Fluency: Ability to move between design tools and live builds seamlessly.
CRO Mindset: Experience building for conversion (A/B testing, user journey mapping).
Technical Acumen: Strong ability to partner with engineering on system architecture, API integrations, and data flows.
SQL familiarity or comfort working with data analysts to define KPIs and pull insights.
Demonstrated effectiveness working in a matrixed global environment with engineering, design, operations, and senior leadership stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline from a recognized institution.
Certifications in AWS/MS/Google Solutions Architect.

Responsibilities

Architect complex sites by structuring CMS collections, reference fields, and dynamic content models for maximum scalability.
Lead delivery and project management by building responsive, pixel-perfect, and accessible web experiences from design mockups, coordinating with cross teams for delivery, and using clean client-first or custom naming conventions.
Extend functionality by implementing custom code (HTML/CSS/JS) to add advanced interactions, filtering, or functionality.
Integrate CMS with the tech stack, including Marketing Automation and AI tools.
Structure content for AI answer engines and structured LLM searches (AEO & AI Search).
Optimize site architecture, schema markup, meta tags, and internal linking for enhanced search engine ranking (Technical SEO).
Maximize Core Web Vitals (LCP, TTI) through manual image optimization, lazy-loading, and script management (Performance First).
Own projects from conception to launch, managing workflows and documentation (Project Leadership).
Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Design teams to create high-converting landing pages and iterative experiments (Team Collaboration).
Provide best-practice guidance to internal teams on CMS usage and capabilities (Mentorship).
