About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Web Applications Programmer to develop, maintain, and support applications for our organization's Internet/Intranet sites. This role involves gathering and analyzing requirements, programming web application components, documenting applications, and developing automation techniques for end-user content publishing. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of advanced web tools and languages and will contribute to complex projects.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of IT work experience in software development, installation, and modification in an online environment.
Experience with a variety of advanced web tools and languages.
Ability to develop solutions requiring analysis and research.
Experience working on small to large, complex projects.
Ability to work as a project team member or occasionally as a project leader.
Capability to coach more junior technical staff.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and support applications for Internet/Intranet sites.
Gather and analyze requirements for web applications.
Program selected components of web applications and document components and applications.
Develop automation techniques to enable end-user content publishing.
Program, test, and implement mapped graphic images, forms, and HTML pages.
Handle client browser support inquiries and maintain accuracy of links.
Research, evaluate, and recommend new Internet tools and applications.
Work on complex projects, providing technical expertise and project leadership as needed.
