About The Position
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A WEB APPLICATIONS PROGRAMMER TO WORK ON SITE IN TALLAHASSEE, FL FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW, AND CONVERSION OF EXISTING, RADIATION-RELATED DATA SYSTEMS AND APPLICATIONS FOR THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science
- 4+ years of experience in application and business requirements analysis
- 4+ years of experience with C#
- 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET
- 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps
- 4+ years of experience in .NET web application development using ASP.NET MVC (VB.NET, C#, JavaScript)
- 3+ years of experience using LINQ and Entity Framework for data modeling, query optimization, and business logic implementation
- 10+ months of experience modernizing legacy Visual FoxPro applications, including code analysis, business logic extraction, workflow redesign, and redevelopment using .NET and SQL Server
- 10+ months of experience developing applications using WPF with MVVM architecture (XAML UI, C#, data binding, commands, services)
- 4+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- 4+ years of SQL programming (stored procedures, functions, triggers, DTS packages, scheduled jobs)
- 4+ years of experience in data modeling, database design, and performance tuning
- 4+ years of experience with relational database systems
- 4+ years of experience writing test cases and test scripts
- 4+ years of experience gathering and documenting user requirements
- 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Teams and webinar tools
- 4+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining government software
- 10+ months of experience analyzing and mapping business processes related to licensure, registration, and regulation of radiation sources
- 10+ months of experience designing and developing applications supporting radiation regulatory processes
- 10+ months of experience with Laserfiche document imaging systems and workflow automation
- 10+ months of experience converting legacy systems into client-server applications using C# and SQL
Responsibilities
- Development of new radiation-related data systems and applications.
- Conversion of existing radiation-related data systems and applications.
