Interclypse is seeking an Applications Programmer to support Maryland state agencies in the modernization and sustainment of critical systems. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related scientific or technical discipline; or three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Five (5) years of computer experience in information systems design.
  • Three (3) years of experience as an application programmer on large-scale DBMS, knowledge of computer equipment, and ability to develop complex software to satisfy design objectives.

Nice To Haves

  • A Master’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Developing block diagrams and logic flowcharts.
  • Translating detailed design into computer software.
  • Testing, debugging, and refining the computer software to produce the required product.
  • Preparing required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation.
  • Enhancing software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency.
  • Providing technical direction to programmers as required to ensure program deadlines are met.
