About The Position
DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Web Application Developer to join our team to support work for the Columbia Pacific Northwest Region (CPN) of the Bureau of Reclamation. The person will be responsible to provide programming support and development for the CPN Region’s Water Management System. This position is onsite to begin in Boise, Idaho. Remote work may be available once the customer approves.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a C# .NET Core and Framework programmer.
- Experience with Windows Forms and Windows Desktop development.
- Experience with front-end web development languages: HTML/CSS/JS.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and SQLite.
- Experience working with Source Control Systems, particularly Git.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust.
- Bachelor’s Degree or applicable experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
- Possesses strong programming skills using JavaScript front-end and back-end software programming languages to develop software applications and tools. Using built-in widgets, modules, plugins, and default configurations is not adequate.
- Understanding of Hydromet concepts and technologies and software, including principles of cartography, data analysis, and data visualization.
- Fundamental understanding of basic SQL statements and database table design.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Entity Framework preferred.
- Familiarity with COM Interop preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the Hydromet and Agrimet programs and applications.
- Import and export data to and from various databases and data sources.
