We are looking for a Web Application Developer to support the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture's Inspections application by converting existing inspection forms into web-based solutions, developing database integrations, and supporting application enhancements. This position will be a full-time, 9-month contract and onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.
Requirements
- Beginner to intermediate software development experience
- Experience with JavaScript development
- Experience working with SQL databases
- Experience developing with HTML
- Experience developing with CSS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn new technologies and development tools quickly
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work onsite in Oklahoma City

Responsibilities
- Convert existing fillable PDF inspection documents into interactive HTML forms for data collection
- Develop JavaScript functionality that allows inspector-entered data to be stored in a SQL database
- Support the generation and storage of PDF documents using Jinja templates
- Develop and maintain application functionality that supports agricultural inspection workflows
- Collaborate with project stakeholders and development team members to support the replacement of the existing inspections platform
- Provide JavaScript development support to help maintain project timelines and deliverables
- Write, test, and troubleshoot application code to ensure reliable system performance
- Support database integration and data management activities
- Assist with application enhancements, defect resolution, and system improvements
- Participate in testing and validation efforts to ensure application functionality meets business requirements
- Document development processes, technical solutions, and application updates
