About The Position

The Web Administrator supports the Sustainment Operations functional line for the Hill CEDC IT Operations & Maintenance contract at Hill AFB by administering, maintaining, and supporting enterprise web environments and web-based applications. This role is responsible for web server administration, website availability, performance monitoring, security compliance, content deployment, and troubleshooting activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Web Development, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience administering web servers, web applications, or enterprise web environments.
  • Experience supporting Apache Tomcat
  • Experience troubleshooting web application, server, and connectivity issues in enterprise environments.
  • Experience supporting application deployments, maintenance activities, and production environments.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, vulnerability management, and web server hardening practices.
  • Experience supporting Configuration and Change Management processes.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background investigation.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • Experience supporting DoD web environments or enterprise data center operations.

Responsibilities

  • Administers IIS 10 and higher, Apache HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, WordPress 6.x, and PHP 8.x web hosting environments.
  • Monitors web service availability and performance through SolarWinds
  • Applies security patches and configuration updates through the approved change management process.
  • Maintains STIG compliance across web server environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve web server, application, and connectivity issues affecting system performance and user access.
  • Support deployment of web content, application updates, and configuration changes through established release and change management processes.
  • Monitor system logs, alerts, and performance metrics to identify and resolve potential issues before service disruption occurs.
  • Implement and maintain security controls, certificates, access permissions, and web server hardening requirements.
  • Support vulnerability remediation efforts and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, security baselines, and applicable regulations.
