About The Position

As the Weapons Integration Engineer Sr – Level 3, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and certifying weapon systems that empower pilots to dominate the skies. You will work hand-in-hand with vendors, program managers, and flight test crews to ensure every integration meets the highest standards of performance and safety.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM discipline.
  • Experience in weapons design, development, testing, and integration.
  • Experience interfacing with DoD Customers and suppliers.
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

  • Experience with Interface Control Documents (ICD)
  • Experience developing BOE's.
  • Experience developing Weapons CONOPS
  • Understanding of FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, and Root Cause Corrective Action.
  • Ability to travel domestic and international.

Responsibilities

  • Develop system design, test, and certification plans for a variety of air-to-air weapons.
  • Execute integration and flight-test activities, analyzing results and driving corrective actions.
  • Assess design changes, identify safety risks, and provide technical mitigation strategies.
  • Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and test reports.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure schedule adherence.
