About The Position

The Software Engineer will be part of the F-22 Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS) Build and Pipeline Team. This team is responsible for creating and maintaining the pipeline that integrates software development products into a single installable product for various networks. The IMIS product serves as the ground system for the F-22 aircraft, providing capabilities for ground crews to ensure pilot safety during missions. The role involves scripting, code branching, pipeline maintenance, security upkeep, and close collaboration with engineering staff across different hardware and network environments. Responsibilities include detailed problem analysis of anomalies, documentation, and verification of corrections. The engineer will also interact, plan, and coordinate with multiple software development and data engineering/maintenance teams.

Requirements

  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • Experience/familiarity with Docker / Podman / Open Container Initiative (OCI)
  • Experience with Jenkins / GitLab / equivalent Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
  • Experience with Artifactory / Nexus / equivalent artifact repository
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Will require a government Secret security clearance to start
