We are seeking a qualified Low Mid-Level Weapon System In-Service Engineer in Arlington, VA. This position is not eligible for hybrid or remote work situations. This is a 100% on-site, in-office position. The selectee will perform as the Decision Technologies Weapon System In-Service Engineer for a US Navy Weapons Engineering and Program Acquisition Support contract. In the accomplishment of this task, the selectee will be directly responsible for the following: MBSE & Technical Documentation: Develop MBSE-aligned technical documentation and architectural products to assist PEO IWS 11 in transitioning programs to Model Based Systems Engineering throughout the development, production, and in-service lifecycles. Launcher Installation & Modernization: Assist in new launcher installation and modernization efforts during depot maintenance cycles by supporting installation planning for ships having systems removed and replaced. Maintenance & Sustainment: Support RAM launcher and missile maintenance planning by providing technical assistance in reviewing maintenance concepts, plans, and Maintenance Index Pages (MIPs). Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with Navy, vendor, and government stakeholders on cross-functional program needs, including acting as a liaison with U.S. and German governments, prime contractors, and field activities to investigate and resolve issues. Technical Reviews & Integration: Collaborate on technical reviews and data calls by participating in Technical Interchange Meetings, Program Reviews, and Interface Working Groups to evaluate system impacts. Financial & Program Planning: Support cross-functional financial planning by tracking financial records, evaluating cost data for accuracy, and responding to data calls related to financial execution.
