About The Position

Zions Bancorporation is seeking a Wealth Management Business Program Manager to join their team. This role is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering large, complex, and strategic cross-functional business initiatives and programs within the Wealth Management division. The position requires significant independent judgment and creative problem-solving. The manager will collaborate with business units and sponsors to develop solution roadmaps, interact with senior leadership, and manage program budgets and risks. A key responsibility includes serving as the subject matter expert for Salesforce (SF) for the team, overseeing referrals, opportunities, pipeline management, and closed-won business tracking. The role also involves acting as a backup for the PILOC credit offering and driving other strategic initiatives. Zions Wealth Management is a specialized division focused on providing comprehensive financial services to affluent individuals, families, and businesses. This division is a strategic focus for Zions Bancorporation, which operates across eight affiliate banks in the Western United States.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience with large or complex programs/projects, program management processes, methodologies and tools, resource and change management practices and techniques, or other directly related experience. (A combination of education and experience may meet requirements).
  • Expert knowledge of program/project management, including methodologies, processes, tools, scope management, financial tracking, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Expert experience in solution identification, assessment, and creation of robust business and financial cases.
  • Exceptional strategic planning, risk management, and change management skills, with the ability to anticipate, create, and manage change.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Expert negotiation and facilitation abilities to coordinate effectively across business lines and various levels of employees and managers.
  • Advanced knowledge of departmental specific processes, computer applications, and wealth management-related project knowledge.
  • Active Series 7, 66, and Insurance licenses required.

  • Leadership experience is strongly preferred.
  • CFA or CFP candidate or designation is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, managing, and delivering large, unusually complex, and strategic cross-functional business initiatives and programs.
  • Using independent judgment and exerting significant latitude to accomplish objectives without considerable direction, providing highly creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Collaborating with business units, Business Line Sponsors, and managers to develop solution roadmaps that support various affiliate, divisional, and corporate initiatives.
  • Directly interacting with senior business line leadership, management, and senior customer personnel, often performing a primary project leadership role across organizational lines.
  • Developing and maintaining master programs, including comprehensive schedule, resource planning, and interdependency management.
  • Directing and facilitating the definition of program/project scope, defining project tasks, and determining resource requirements to ensure projects are delivered on time, adhere to high-quality standards, and meet customer expectations.
  • Directing financial accountability for program budgets, including expert solution identification, assessment, and the creation of business and financial cases.
  • Assessing and mitigating risk, monitoring, and reporting on the progress of the program and associated projects, and presenting reports defining progress, problems, and solutions to stakeholders.
  • Acting as the single point of contact and principal liaison for programs and associated projects across all impacted areas.
  • Working closely with the leadership team to drive results outlined in the division’s 5–year strategic plan.
  • Serving as the subject matter expert for Salesforce (SF) for the team, overseeing referrals, opportunities, pipeline management, and closed-won business tracking.
  • Acting as the primary back-up to the PILOC credit offering, process, and servicing.
  • Driving other strategic affluent and wealth initiatives as assigned.
