Wealth Fixed Income Execution Desk Analyst
About The Position
Jefferies Financial Group Inc. is a global investment banking and securities firm. The Jefferies Fixed Income Execution Desk facilitates client orders on a riskless basis across all fixed income products, aiming for best execution. The desk manages the entire transaction lifecycle from trade initiation to settlement. This role focuses on fixed income operational functions, providing exposure to all aspects and roles within the Fixed Income Execution Desk. The candidate will manage the complete trade lifecycle, including booking, settlement, and regulatory requirements like TRACE/MSRB reporting, best execution, and prevailing market price. The role also involves assisting the team in communicating market information, context, and opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize workflow
- 2-4 years of related in financial services experience
- Effective communication skills
- Experience with Pershing Netx360
- Bloomberg Series 7, 63 and 66
Nice To Haves
- Spanish and or Portuguese helpful
Responsibilities
- Support Financial Advisor teams from pre to post transaction
- Confirming and matching all fixed income transactions versus street counterparties
- Regulatory checks at start and end of each trading day
- Monitoring of TRACE and MSRB websites
- Business analysis
- Facilitating client fixed income orders
