About The Position

The Wealth Connect Advisor provides personalized financial education and investment advice to clients through secure virtual meetings, phone calls, and digital planning tools. They assess each client’s goals, risk tolerance, time horizon, tax considerations, and current financial position to develop tailored recommendations that may include brokerage, advisory, and insurance solutions. Working in a team-based environment, the advisor builds and maintains relationships, conducts ongoing reviews, and partners with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver a consistent client experience. They are expected to communicate clearly, manage appointments efficiently, and maintain accurate documentation while adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, suitability requirements, and company policies. The Wealth Connect Advisor focuses on onboarding new clients to U.S. Bancorp Advisor within the Emerging Affluent client base.

Requirements

  • Must be FINRA licensed with Series 7, 66 (or 63 and 65) and required state insurance licenses, or have the ability to become licensed within 180 days of start
  • Bachelor’s degree, background in financial services, investments, or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient with various computer software programs including Microsoft Office and financial planning applications
  • Must be able to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies.

Nice To Haves

  • One to two or more years of job-related experience in a financial sales position
  • Thorough understanding of residential mortgage banking, credit analysis and approval techniques, and policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated sales and marketing abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Bilingual

  • Build and maintain relationships in a team-based environment.
  • Conduct ongoing client reviews.

  • Communicate clearly, manage appointments efficiently, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, suitability requirements, and company policies.
  • Focus on onboarding new clients to U.S. Bancorp Advisor within the Emerging Affluent client base.
