Requirements

Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
Must be able to work full-time hours from late May 2027 to early August 2027.
Graduation date of August 2027 or beyond.
Passion for investments.
Analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in Excel data analytics and charting or similar software.
Strong commitment to team environment dynamics.
Pro-active, self-sufficient, takes initiative.

Nice To Haves

The internship may be extended part-time through fall 2027 and spring 2028.
Exposure to investment research software such as Factset, Morningstar, or Bloomberg.

Responsibilities

Spend the summer with the COUNTRY Trust Bank Wealth Management team responsible for over $6 billion in individual and institutional client assets
Assist Portfolio Managers and Investment Analysts with market and investment research
Trade client investments including mutual funds, ETF, stocks, and bonds; implement rebalancing, raise/invest cash, and tax loss harvesting strategies
Attend investment committee meetings and participate in calls with mutual fund companies, sell-side analysts, and corporate IR teams
Participate in corporate intern activities including networking with leadership, social activities, and the intern case competition
Assigned other data analysis projects and duties consistent with the growth objectives of the Wealth Management team
