About The Position

The position is responsible for being the business owner of a product, system, or application within the Truist Wealth platform. This includes areas such as account opening, e-sign, workflows, and other teammate-facing applications and tools for the Truist Wealth organization. The role involves defining strategy, analyzing potential solutions, and driving the implementation of initiatives to meet business goals. The Senior Product Manager will lead business analysis and project management efforts to drive strategy, continuous improvement, and expanded utilization of the product to achieve operational efficiency, risk management, client and advisor experience, and asset and revenue goals. This includes coordinating with subject matter experts, business leaders, and operational teams to define strategic and tactical advisor and teammate needs, system enhancements, and priorities. The role also involves partnering with vendor partners, technology teams across Truist, and CRM partners to determine system requirements, solutions, integrations, and system connectivity. Additionally, the Senior Product Manager will develop and oversee change management initiatives related to the Product, ensure proper teammate training, and coordinate various testing and implementation activities. Ensuring the operational aspects of the product are running effectively, including managing vendor relationships, issues/task lists, process and procedure documentation, SLAs, and reporting, is also a key responsibility. The role requires working with SME partners to ensure all regulations and compliance requirements are met for the Wealth business and systems owned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or banking or equivalent education and related training
  • Five years of financial services, private banking, Brokerage or wealth management experience
  • Three year track record of successfully managing large projects, programs and project management
  • Proven ability to act as a liaison between Business, product, operational and technical groups
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to lead meetings
  • Conceptual ability to analyze problems and devise solutions
  • Ability and willingness to learn and adapt as the needs of the job change
  • Ability to manage a budget
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
