About The Position

As a Wax Specialist, you will provide guests with body-waxing services using European Wax Center’s Exclusive Comfort Wax and products. The role is based in an upbeat, professional, team-driven environment and includes training to learn and master waxing. You will build guest relationships, encourage rebooking, educate guests about service frequency, aftercare, and products, and maintain a clean, professional, comfortable service environment while following service and sanitation standards. The position is with GCWAX,LLC and GCWAX2,LLC, independent franchisees of the European Wax Center franchise system; franchisees control employment-related matters at their independently owned and operated centers.

Requirements

• Hold a current Esthetician or Cosmetologist license in the state of Michigan.
• Have a strong desire to grow a book of guests and build lasting guest relationships.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to educate guests on services, products, and aftercare.
• Be excited to learn and master waxing through the training program.
• Be able to work at least one weekend day, with a mix of morning and afternoon shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Sales or customer service experience, especially helping guests find products and services suited to their individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-body waxing using EWC’s Exclusive Comfort Wax while following service and sanitation standards.
• Build relationships with guests and grow a book of guests by providing excellent service and encouraging rebooking.
• Educate guests on service frequency, proper aftercare, and EWC products.
• Maintain a clean, professional, and comfortable service environment for every guest.
