Wax Injector- 1st and 3rd Shift
About The Position
The Wax Injector is responsible for injecting all blades, cored jobs, and shroud hangers, and running all components. This role involves performing core preparation, dressing cores, injecting wax patterns and components, leaching solubles from wax patterns, and maintaining quality on all patterns, gating, and sprues. The position also requires keeping dies clean after each job and storing them properly, meeting efficiency standards, and maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work area. Adherence to procedures and safety rules is mandatory, along with performing other assigned duties by supervision, which may include lot control and dressing.
Requirements
- High school education.
- Three months OJT training.
- Achieve and maintain high initiative and ingenuity.
- Lift/move from 2 - 25 pounds up to 10 times per hour.
- Responsible for self.
- Make sure parts meet quality standards.
- Must be willing to work daily overtime and weekend overtime as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Perform core preparation.
- Dress cores.
- Inject all wax patterns and components.
- Leach solubles from wax pattern.
- Maintain quality on all patterns, gating, and sprues.
- Keep all dies clean after completing each job and stored in proper area.
- Meet the specific requirements of the efficiency standards.
- Keep the work area in a clean, orderly, and safe working condition.
- Follow procedures and all safety rules.
- Perform other duties in area assigned by supervision, including lot control and/or dressing.
