About The Position

Responsible for creating wax assemblies that meet internal quality requirements. This role involves cleaning and preparing wax patterns, assembling wax setups according to outlines, and creating assembly techniques. The position also includes producing developmental setups from sketches and verbal instructions, visually inspecting wax patterns for defects, and inspecting setups per the buddy system. Accuracy is verified using basic measurement tools, and lot integrity must be maintained. Proper paperwork completion is essential, and assistance to other areas may be required. Hazardous waste training may also be a requirement.

Requirements

  • Able to work in a production environment.
  • Able to read and comprehend English.
  • Able to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with tens and 100s.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 10 lbs. continuously.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 25lbs. frequently.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. occasionally.
  • Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Able to write simple correspondence.
  • Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Near vision requirement is Jaeger J1 in one eye, at no less than 12 inches; or equivalent, or Jaeger J2 in one eye, at no less than 16 inches. Corrected or uncorrected.
  • Able to complete PCC Ogden Wax Setup Operator certifications required in grade system.
  • Able to communicate effectively with co-workers.
  • Willing to work overtime on occasion.
  • Complies with company and departmental policies and procedures, including company’s attendance policy.
  • Able to meet individual productivity requirements.
  • Able to meet individual quality requirements.
