About The Position
The Wave Planning Assistant supports HSN and contributes by coordinating outbound order waves to keep our fulfillment operations running smoothly. You will report to the Outbound Area Manager. This is an onsite position based at our Piney Flats, TN facility. You'll be part of the daily operations that keep our fulfillment network moving. We do not offer relocation assistance for this role.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment environment.
- Working knowledge of WMS systems and basic computer applications (spreadsheets (can perform complex functions) (can maintain complex spreadsheets), reporting tools).
- Problem‑solving skills, in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Release and manage outbound order waves to support daily production goals across picking, staging, automation, and packing areas.
- Monitor wave progress and communicate status updates, aged tasks, and priorities to operational teams.
- Adjust wave parameters based on labor availability, inventory, and our needs to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Troubleshoot workflow issues and escalate or resolve problems to keep orders moving.
- Support cross‑functional partners to ensure accurate processing of customer orders.
