The role encompasses pre-inspection and maintenance of fire hydrants throughout the distribution system, ensuring citizens have fire protection. As a crucial part of the watershed division, the worker serves as a first responder to sewer overflow incidents and blockages, managing critical situations to maintain the city's sewer system integrity. Works under direct supervision and follows standardized procedures and written instructions to accomplish assigned tasks; may assist in training, orienting, or observing lower level associate, apprentice, or semi-skilled employee in the group.
