Waterproofing Field Service Technician (73041)
About The Position
The Waterproofing Field Service Technician will perform waterproofing and concrete work, including leak investigations, water testing, and repairs for water infiltration. This role involves installing waterproofing treatments using equipment and assisting with the application of various waterproofing chemicals and coating products. The technician will also perform minor exterior repairs on buildings and parking structures, and may need to access work areas using equipment like boom lifts, scissor lifts, scaffolds, or ladders. Training will be provided for the installation of waterproofing treatments and integrity testing. The technician is responsible for ensuring tools and equipment are in working order and must adhere to all health, safety, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- High degree of physical fitness and endurance to complete physical aspects of the job, including the ability to lift objects weighing up to 25kg
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation to complete tasks without direct supervision
- Execute professionalism in waterproofing works
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Flexibility to work extended and non-standard hours as required
- Valid driver’s license will be advantageous
- 0-3 years of experience in waterproofing or related field
- Required to work outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions
- May occasionally come in contact with unpleasant or hazardous materials
- May occasionally require safety procedures when working at height.

- Strong understanding of roofing, waterproofing and coatings materials a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform Leak Investigations, Water testing & repairs for water infiltration
- Install waterproofing treatment using equipment in accordance with established procedures and practices
- Assist in waterproofing application and work with a range of waterproofing chemicals and coating products
- Perform minor exterior repairs for concrete, masonry, sealant, and waterproofing issues on buildings and parking structures
- Access to work areas may require the use of boom lifts, scissor lifts, swing stage, scaffolds, ladders, or bosun chair, to reach great heights inside and outside of buildings under construction.
- Responsible for the installation of various waterproofing treatment and assist in waterproofing application and work.
- Perform integrity testing and troubleshooting testing to identify any breeches or defects in the project’s existing waterproofing membrane/coatings
- Ensure all tools, supplies, and equipment are in working order, and arrange for replacements as necessary
- Adhere to all health and safety practices and procedures
- Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations, including building, trade, fire, and construction codes, as well as company policies.
