As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Waterproofing Estimator to play a key role in delivering competitive and accurate bids from our Head Office in Ontario. Requirements

A diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Construction Management, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, preferably in waterproofing, roofing, or building envelope projects
Strong understanding of waterproofing systems, materials, and installation methods
Strong analytical and mathematical skills for cost estimation and quantity take-offs
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
Excellent communication and organizational skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and clients
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Excel, and GoNest (or similar estimating/optimization software)
Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

Review project documents, including drawings and specifications, to assess waterproofing scope and requirements
Perform quantity take-offs and material estimates for waterproofing systems (e.g., below-grade, foundation, roofing interfaces, plaza decks, etc.)
Prepare detailed cost estimates for waterproofing projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness
Submit bids and track project proposals to ensure timely and compliant submissions
Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing information and negotiate costs
Communicate with project managers, site supervisors, and clients to ensure alignment on project scope
Use industry-specific software, such as Bluebeam and Microsoft Office, for estimating and documentation
Maintain and update cost databases, historical pricing records, and bid tracking systems
