About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking an Overnight Waterpark Painter. The role involves painting areas throughout the waterpark, following the manager’s directions about which areas to paint. The painter prepares surfaces before painting and may assist with pool cleaning and small maintenance tasks when directed. The position also helps maintain the waterpark’s appearance and minimize guest inconvenience by properly blocking off repairs and wet-paint areas. Work takes place in indoor and outdoor waterpark environments, including warm, humid settings and hot, humid weather. The role requires working between 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM.

Requirements

Knowledge of waterpark maintenance and its day-to-day functions within a resort.
Ability to work between 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM.
Knowledge of painting materials, including how to select, mix, and apply them.
Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects; bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching are involved.
Ability to work in warm and humid settings and hot, humid weather in indoor and outdoor waterpark environments.

Responsibilities

Prepare areas for painting and clean up and put away all supplies before the end of the shift.
Help maintain the waterpark’s appearance and ensure guests are not inconvenienced by repairs or wet-paint areas that are not properly blocked off.
Assist with pool cleaning and small maintenance tasks when directed.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Waterpark Maintenance Manager.
