About The Position
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Waterpark Maintenance Painter. In this role, you will prep and paint all areas of the waterpark as well as assist with small maintenance tasks. Requirements
- proven experience as a painter or similar role
- Knowledge of painting equipment and mixing paint products.
- Knowledge of waterpark maintenance and its day-to-day functions within a resort is helpful.
- Desire to continually learn and improve
- A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
Responsibilities
- Prepping areas to be painted prior to painting areas
- Use painter’s plastic to cover any areas that shouldn’t get paint on them before painting on specific area.
- Paint intricate surfaces and small/ large parts, sometimes using a ladder or walk board.
- Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the ride manufacturer’s preventative maintenance programs.
- Ensure waterpark is maintained so that guests are not inconvenienced because of repairs.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of all pools for both indoor and outdoor waterparks.
