About The Position

HDR is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager for its Water Business Group. The role supports water infrastructure projects that contribute to public health, environmental sustainability, and infrastructure resilience. The Project Manager plans and manages projects, coordinates professional staff and project teams, maintains client relationships, participates in project and agency reviews, and helps ensure work is delivered within schedule and project parameters. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Seven years of related experience.
• At least two years of project management experience.
• Ability to interact with various design teams.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to actively participating in HDR's employee-owned culture.

Nice To Haves

• A license or certification.
• PMP certification.
• Experience advancing digital delivery and AI-supported workflows in infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline projects or large, routine projects.
• Independently coordinate the work of professional staff and balance the team throughout project development.
• Establish client relations and participate in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings.
• Participate in reviews with governing agencies to support compliance.
• Conduct design-development and contract-document work sessions with other staff.
• Coordinate workload throughout project development and ensure documents are completed on schedule.
• Track project financial aspects and coordinate or adjust team effort to keep work within agreed schedule parameters.
• Work with the Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager on project reviews, and with company management as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed.
